Droomers Garage in Bellville started trading in 1964. We are a third generation family business which started out in the Motor industry in 1964 and took on the Yamaha dealership in 1971. In 1989 David joined the family business and focused solely on Yamaha.  We are focused on motorcycle and marine offering sales, service, parts, accessories and workshop services.

We consistently measure amongst the top Yamaha Dealers in the country.  David has successfully branded Droomers Bellville as a “bike destination” in the Western Cape. Our workshop is 1500 square meters.  The BIGGEST in the Western Cape and one of the biggest in South Africa! We have well trained and efficient service advisers who will ensure you only receive the best service!  The workshop is fully equipped with all required equipment including Yamaha and TEXA diagnostic tools.  We employ four fully qualified technicians that have over 40 years’ experience in the Motorcycle Industry (36 of those years all with Droomers Yamaha)

Our accessories store is approximately 230 square meters.  Our team has over 30 years’ experience [all with Droomers Yamaha].  We stock a large range of marine, adventure bike, road bike and off-road parts and accessories.

Yamaha Motor History

Yamaha Motor Company Limited is a Japanese manufacturer of motorcycles, marine products such as boats and outboard motors, and other motorized products.

The company was established in 1955 and is headquartered in Iwata, Shizuoka, Japan. Led by Genichi Kawakami, the company’s first president, Yamaha Motor began production of its first product, the YA-1, in 1955. The 125cc motorcycle won the 3rd Mount Fuji Ascent Race in its class, which was only the beginning for Yamaha Motor.
